Fahd qualified in 2003 from University of Glasgow. He developed a wide repertoire of clinical interests through various hospital posts and degrees.
Fahd completed specialist training with distinction from Guys and St Thomas Hospital Trust and Kings College London and is currently clinical lead for periodontics in several award -winning practices.
Alongside his clinical commitments, Fahd continues to maintain an active interest in periodontal research and teaching. He actively participates in mentoring and training dentists and hygienists and has given numerous lectures to local, national and international audiences.
Fahd is the recipient of numerous awards such as the Odontology President’s Clinical Research Prize by the Royal Society of Medicine in relation to his work on antimicrobial peptides. He was also the recipient of the Ron Wilson research prize from Kings College London. In 2017, Fahd was named ‘Dentist of the Year’ in recognition for his clinical, educational and charitable activities.
Fahd accepts referrals for complex periodontal problems such as mobile teeth, gum pocketing, gum recession and implant based replacement of teeth. Fahd also provides all forms of dental treatment under sedation for anxious patients.
